Great opportunity: abattoir worker (Kwara State)

Vacancy available: we are hiring an abattoir worker in Irepodun, Kwara State. You will work in a meat processing plant. You will break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts. Requirements: • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day 5+ years on the tools preferred.
