Immediate opening: we are hiring a lift mechanic in Mitchell County, Texas. You will work at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. You will install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments; adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy. Requirements: • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
