Now hiring: we are hiring a steam press operator in Albasu, Kano State. You will work in a busy laundry. You should have: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets Day-to-day duties: • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
