Immediate opening: site dozer operator (Iowa)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a site dozer operator in Hardin County, Iowa. The job is at a busy earthworks site. Day-to-day duties: • Backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank • Operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction • Refuel the machine and record running hours • Form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle Requirements: • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
