Immediate opening: gtaw welder (Kaduna State)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Jaba, Kaduna State. The role involves: • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required What we are looking for: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. ₦1,700 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
