Now hiring: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Smith County, Kansas. The job is at a shopfitting company. The role involves: • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles Ideal candidate: • Good eye for detail and a clean finish • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height • Own basic hand tools 1+ years on the tools preferred.
