Wood machinist — Wamba

We are recruiting: we are hiring a wood machinist in Wamba, Nasarawa State. You will work at a kitchen and furniture manufacturer. Your main tasks: • Check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together What we are looking for: • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height • Good eye for detail and a clean finish Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
