Lathe operator — Refugio County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lathe operator in Refugio County, Texas. You will work in a textile mill. Day to day you will record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet; monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift; top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels; report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter; run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing. Requirements: • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor $5,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
