Horticulturist wanted in Bagwai

Vacancy available: we are hiring a horticulturist in Bagwai, Kano State. You will be based in a botanical garden. Requirements: • Valid driving licence for travel between sites • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • Happy to work outdoors in all weather The role involves: • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn • Cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs • Repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades • Water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines Part-time with flexible hours.
