Great opportunity: we are hiring a press operator in Kirfi, Bauchi State. The job is in a metal fabrication workshop. Requirements: • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred The role involves run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; set up and change stamping dies and tooling; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts; record output and downtime on the production sheet.
