Brickwork mason • Amethi, Uttar Pradesh

Immediate opening: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Amethi, Uttar Pradesh. You will work on a busy housing site. Day-to-day duties: • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters Ideal candidate: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week — bring your tools.
