Abattoir worker — Unuimo

Great opportunity: we are hiring an abattoir worker in Unuimo, Imo State. You will work in a hotel or restaurant butchery. You will sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; season and marinate meat on request; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; stuff and link fresh sausages with casings. Requirements: • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
