Injection moulding machine operator • Perry County, Illinois

Vacancy available: we are hiring an injection moulding machine operator in Perry County, Illinois. The job is on a production line. The role involves: • Monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift • Change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers • Run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing • Load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper • Report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges You should have: • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills • Good attention to detail and steady hands Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
