Urgent requirement: crane operator (Jigawa State)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a crane operator in Biriniwa, Jigawa State. Day-to-day duties: • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) Requirements: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Able to read load charts and lifting plans 1+ years on the tools preferred.
