Baker wanted in Wabash County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a baker in Wabash County, Illinois. You will be based at a café with an on-site bakery. The role involves pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls; monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch; laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter; weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe; grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds; keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards. You should have: • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks • 2+ years' experience as a baker Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around $240 per day, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
