Requirements: • ITI certificate in auto electrical or electronics, or equivalent • Steady hands for soldering fine connections Day to day you will solder and heat-shrink wiring joints; test batteries, alternators and starter motors with a multimeter; repair air-conditioning electrical controls; programme keys and reset immobilisers; repair headlights, indicators and brake-light circuits; diagnose electrical faults using an OBD-II scanner. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
