Gang bricklayer • Nadia, West Bengal

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Nadia, West Bengal. You will work on a busy housing site. Day to day you will forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel. You should have: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
