Join our team: we are hiring a head butcher in Franklin County, Texas. You will be based at a halal meat counter. Requirements: • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate Your main tasks: • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case Pay around $4,800 per month, based on your experience.
