Skimming plasterer • Randall County, Texas

Vacancy available: we are hiring a skimming plasterer in Randall County, Texas. You will be based at a new-build housing development. On a typical shift you will polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush; fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads; apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat; float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge; mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency; tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler. Requirements: • Able to mix plaster to the right consistency by feel • Willing to work on both new build and refurbishment sites 2+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $3,400 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
