Join our team: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in LaPorte County, Indiana. Requirements: • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing On the job you will handle: • Strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse • Clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance Six days a week, one day off.
