Join our team: we are hiring a gardener in Broward County, Florida. Your main tasks: • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades • Water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines • Operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads Requirements: • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting $19 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
