Great opportunity: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Shomgom, Gombe State. On the job you will handle: • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight 2+ years on the tools preferred.
