Ideally you have experience with carbide tooling and insert selection; willing to work rotating day and night shifts; working knowledge of G-code and M-code. On a typical shift you will change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed; watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; load and index turning tools in the turret.
