Requirements: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage On a typical shift you will sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing.
