Gantry crane operator — Bond County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Bond County, Illinois. You will be based on a busy construction site. The role involves: • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports You should have: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Strong attention to safety and load limits Full-time with occasional weekends.
