Brick and block layer • Tambuwal, Sokoto State

Vacancy available: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Tambuwal, Sokoto State. You will work at a renovation and extension job. Your main tasks: • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge Ideal candidate: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
