Head butcher — Polk County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a head butcher in Polk County, Oregon. The job is at a wholesale meat market. Requirements: • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate Day to day you will trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools. Pay around $3,000 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Part-time with flexible hours. Contact us to fix an interview.
