Immediate opening: rough terrain crane operator (Illinois)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a rough terrain crane operator in Henderson County, Illinois. You will work on a busy construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands Ideal candidate: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Understanding of hand and radio signals Part-time with flexible hours.
