Immediate opening: we are hiring a counter butcher in Mayes County, Oklahoma. You will be based at a wholesale meat market. On the job you will handle: • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled Requirements: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry Pay around $3,900 per month, based on your experience.
