Great opportunity: we are hiring a painter in Tamenglong, Manipur. You will work on a residential building site. Ideally you have physically fit for standing, bending and reaching all day; sound knowledge of surface prep and the right primers; comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolding. The role involves cut in neat edges along ceilings, cornices and door frames; mask off windows, skirting and fittings with tape and sheeting; hang lining paper and wallpaper, matching patterns at the seams; apply textured and weatherproof masonry coatings to exterior walls; clean brushes, rollers and spray kit with thinners after each job; spray emulsion and enamel using HVLP and airless spray guns.
