Urgent requirement: we are hiring an abattoir worker in Dange-Shuni, Sokoto State. The job is at a busy retail butcher's shop. You will portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off.
