Vacancy available: we are hiring a groundskeeper in Rockwall County, Texas. You will be based in a botanical garden. Ideal candidate: • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish Your main tasks: • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed • Water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines • Apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
