Urgent requirement: nursery worker (Plateau State)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a nursery worker in Jos North, Plateau State. You will work at a private estate garden. Day to day you will maintain compost heaps and the potting shed; cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs; spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease; water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines; apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds; rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste. You should have: • Valid driving licence for travel between sites • Happy to work outdoors in all weather • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
