Hydraulic crane operator • Kauru, Kaduna State

Join our team: we are hiring a hydraulic crane operator in Kauru, Kaduna State. You will be based at a container port and shipping yard. You should have: • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination Your main tasks: • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block Six days a week, one day off.
