Great opportunity: we are hiring a pastry baker in Boyd County, Nebraska. The job is at a cake shop. Requirements: • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • Able to work early-morning and night shifts Day to day you will proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them; weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe; rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials; score the top of loaves before baking.
