Turning centre operator wanted in Surrey

Now hiring: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Surrey, England. You will be based in a job-work machining unit. Requirements: • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection Day-to-day duties: • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Load and index turning tools in the turret £2,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
