Vacancy available: we are hiring an ironing operator in Fife, Scotland. Requirements: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets Day to day you will spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments. At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. £90 per day, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time, day shift. Contact us to fix an interview.
