Butcher wanted in Knox County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a butcher in Knox County, Texas. You will work at an abattoir or slaughterhouse. The role involves: • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Season and marinate meat on request • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone Requirements: • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
