Great opportunity: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Bee County, Texas. Day to day you will read lift plans and method statements before starting; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Confident with standard crane hand signals Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
