Now hiring: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Kauru, Kaduna State. You will be based at a busy fabrication workshop. You should have: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work The role involves: • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding 5+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. ₦100,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
