Restaurant steward — Hamilton County

Join our team: we are hiring a restaurant steward in Hamilton County, Indiana. The job is in a five-star hotel. On the job you will handle: • Restock side stations with sauces, condiments and napkins • Greet guests, seat them and present the menu • Handle guest complaints and escalate to the captain or manager • Raise the bill on the POS and settle cash and card payments • Polish glasses, cutlery and crockery during mise en place • Upsell starters, desserts and beverages Ideal candidate: • Basic numeracy for handling cash, bills and change • Good knowledge of the menu, ingredients and beverages • Familiarity with POS billing and order-taking systems A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
