Now hiring: we are hiring a finish carpenter in Cowlitz County, Washington. The job is on a busy construction site. Requirements: • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent Day to day you will fix studwork and plasterboard partitions; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain; assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops; apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board; lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring. At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Pay around $3,300 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
