Heavy equipment operator • Houston County, Texas

We are recruiting: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Houston County, Texas. The job is at a road and highway construction project. Day-to-day duties: • Strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse • Keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly • Load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds • Work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance You should have: • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs 2+ years on the tools preferred.
