Join our team: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in Brown County, Ohio. The job is on a housing development site. Day-to-day duties: • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds • Grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels • Clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble Ideal candidate: • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
