Requirements: • Valid CPCS/NPORS card or local heavy-equipment licence • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing On a typical shift you will swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger; dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels; inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up; keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly; work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter; carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels.
