Immediate opening: we are hiring a counter butcher in Beckham County, Oklahoma. The job is in a hotel or restaurant butchery. The role involves: • Season and marinate meat on request • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone What we are looking for: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
