Join our team: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Kent, England. The job is in a CNC machining unit. Your main tasks: • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters Ideal candidate: • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron Rotating shifts. £3,150 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
