Ideal candidate: • Ability to carry loaded trays and stay on your feet for long shifts • Prior experience as a waiter in a restaurant or hotel • Willingness to work weekends, evenings and split shifts Day to day you will handle guest complaints and escalate to the captain or manager; punch orders through to the kitchen as a KOT (kitchen order ticket); check back during the meal and handle special requests; coordinate order timing with the kitchen and the bar; explain the day's specials and recommend dishes; lay table covers with cutlery, napkins, glassware and crockery.
