Lifting rigger — Odigbo

Now hiring: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Odigbo, Ondo State. The job is at a shipyard. The role involves: • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
