Join our team: we are hiring a press setter operator in Polk County, Oregon. You will be based at a busy press shop. On the job you will handle: • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses Requirements: • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
